e-mail hiding when using "Group messages by conversation"

Another weird problem:

For several of my folders messages get hidden when I have the "Group
messages by conversation" enabled. The status bar will say 22 messages but
only 10 of them are displayed. When I disable the view option all 22
messages will appear.

I have no idea how long this has been going on. I discovered this problem
the other day when I was searching for a particular message from a client.
It was one of the "hidden" messages.

It is because the other 12 messages are hidden under the visible 10.
There should be an POINTER next to those 10 visible messages. Click it and
the hidden one will appear.

That's why I never use "Group messages by conversation".
It's too easy to overlook a message that way.

This is a known bug, it generally happens to threads where one of the
messages was moved from being in the junk folder, or physically moved from
another local folder.

Thanks Steve. Yes those messages were moved from a different folder. Many
were messages that I sent to the client that were moved to their folder. At
least I know I am not going crazy when I can't find a message.

I use Left Alt, V V G to toggle the view.
