G Gary VanderMolen Jun 17, 2008 #4 That's a pretty standard "Latin-1" character set. It should not be showing you a bunch of garbage characters. When you did the Ctrl+F3, were you able to scroll down and read what was in the body of the message? Perhaps the sender made a mistake. Can you clarify it with the sender?
