Outlook 2007. When viewing the inbox the Forward botton on the toolbar is
grayed out and cannot be selected. Ctrl-F works. Is anyone else
experiencing this and is there a fix?

Close Outlook. Do a search for the outcmd.dat file and rename it. Open
Outlook to see if that rectifies the problem.

Note: the outcmd.dat file is likely hidden so unhide all hidden folders and
files in Windows Explorer and also tell it to show known file types.

Let me know what happens.

My issue is very similar to what Hildy wrote:

Also Outlook 2007, but it is when I have an Email open that my Forward icon
is inactive/grayed-out on the Quick Access Toolbar (my "Forward" button in my
Outlook Client is active and works just fine). I can also perform a Ctrl-F
keystroke from the Email and it performs a Forward just fine.

I tried renaming the outcmd.dat file, but no luck (it is the same when I
open Outlook back up and open any email).

Perhaps these are related? If not, I will be happy to create a new/separate
post.

Worked for me. Thx
