E-mail builds up but won't come through.

I keep trying to recive my e-mail but all I get is the same first 13 e-mails.
I have over 100 e-mails built up that won't come through. Can anyone offer
some advise here?
 
If you have antivirus email scanning enabled then disable it. Create a new
profile withe thesame eamil account, download the messages and copy them to
your main profile/PST.
the new profile can be created via the Mail icon in Control panel (Windows
XP).
