E-Mail between networked computers

How can I setup my host and client computers in the event one of them
downloads the e-mail, the e-mail will still be available for the other
computer to be able to retreive e-mail ?

Presuming you have a POP account, set the other computer not to delete the
mail - to leave a copy on the server.
Then make sure you later download & remove the mail, on the 'host' computer,
so it doesn't sit there forever....
