e-mail archiving

When archiving, my e-mails are being copied and not moved to the archive
folder. How can i move them only.

Also, not all mail is being archived ?

Have you checked the auto-archive properties on each of your folders? It can
be set at the folder level so different folders can be treated differently.

Typically archiving would move the item. Is this a new symptom or something
that's always happened to you?

Except copying has never been an option with AutoArchive. The only actions
you can commit against an eligible item are:

Move
Permanently delete

That is how auto-archive works in Outlook 2002 and 2003. Did it actually
have a copy-only option in a prior version?
