E Mail addresses do not appear as a link

Dave

I would really appreciate some help on this one.

Running Win XP SP 2 installed.

Office 2003 and Oultook 2003, SP 3 installed.

When composing and E mail and I type an E mail address into the message it
does not appear as a link but just as text, sending the mail to the recipient
does not change it either.

How can I rectify this that when I type an e mail address it appears as a
link much the same way as Outlook Express use to do.

With thanks
Dave

Thank you, the address now appears as a link, is there a way though with a
setting somewhere where one would not need to type "mailto" before the
address.
