UserClassic VIEWControl Panel/I set up two e-mail accounts, and one is
working fine. But I'm only receiving e-mail for that one account, and not
the other. I can send from the other, but not receive. I know that e-mail
for both accounts will be shown in my inbox default account. But it stiil
doesn't show up there. Help?

Also, when I go to Start/Control Panel/classic view/User Accounts, I do not
get a "Mail" to click on.

Help?

Then why are you looking in Control Panel?

Look on the tools menu>accounts in Windows Mail.

Please post any error messages that you get in full.

I was reading an Outlook info. My bad.

I can see my other account, in Tools/Accounts but how do I activate it so
that it will send emails to that account to my inbox?

We need some info to be able to help you Dodd.

Tell us about the two accounts please.

I assume that one of them does send and receive mail, and you see the mail
to your inbox.

Are both the accounts with the same mail provider? Who is that?

If not the same provider tell us both providers.

Is the 2nd account a child account of the other account ie (e-mail address removed)
and (e-mail address removed)

If the latter you need to set WM to leave a copy of the message on the
server, tools>accounts>select *each account* in turn>properties>advanced.
Set one of them to delete from the server after a sensible number of days.

What happens when you try to receive mail in the 2nd account.

I can send mail from both to my default account.

Both accounts are with the same provider.

Both are my accounts, ie; (e-mail address removed) & (e-mail address removed)

I don;t get mail from my second account. I assume it's suppose to come into
my default Inbox. That's my problem, how do i get mail sent to my second
account?

All your mail from both accounts will go to the same server, the first
account to access that server will remove the mail from the server.

Did you do what I suggested in my previous post:

you need to set WM to leave a copy of the message on the
server, tools>accounts>select *each account* in turn>properties>advanced.
Also set one of the accounts to delete from the server after a sensible

I found the problem. Every e-mail identity requires a different password
from my ISP.

Thanks for your help!

Yet you did not get an error message about the username/password
not being accepted? Very strange.

The only message I got was a window that kept asking for username/password.
My first call to my ISP did not resolve this. My later call to the ISP had
them delete all passwords for that account and establish a password just for
the second account..which worked.

Thanks for reporting back.
In the future, please disclose any and all anomalies that may be related
to the issue at hand.
