Translating this wonderful problem, I (almost) understand that you are
having some kind of problem connecting your joystick to your PC.
1) Is this a USB joystick or a Gameport joystick?
2) Do you have a Gameport Controller on your PC?
3) Which make and model joystick do you own?
4) What is the exact text of the error message?
