E-Machine to Custom built Pc

I have a E-Machine with OS built in,( hardrive has a hidden Partition) with
just recovery disk for system with a cd key

Question:
I have built a new custom PC can i move os from E-Machine to new one,
transfer contains and backup OS built into smaller hard drive to new one?
@ If i can't can I added old hard drive (e-machine) as my C-drive in new PC?

Any help with this-- am not a novice butn"t a expert. thxs again

No you can't. That is an OEM version which is tied to that hardware and that
hardware only. If you want a version that you can move from PC to PC go out
and purchase a retail version. That version you can put on as many PCs as
you want. AS LONG AS you only have it on 1 pc at a time.

You will have to buy another copy of Windows XP. as your recovery disk will
be bios locked to the e-machine.
