I have a Dell 4600c, 512 ram, 80gb, IE7 beta. I purchased a flash card and
reader. I put reader in USB port and loaded drivers. Put a flash card in and
went to my computer, double clicked on e drive and got the following message:
E:\ is not accessable incorrect function. went to admin. tools, computer
management, disk management, and there was no E. Have tried 2 new readers and
4 different flash cards with same results. I cannot change drive letter. I
cannot use my nextel I870 phone (flash card goes in phone). I can format card
in the phone itself. But my computer will not access card so I can copy
pictures and music to it. Has anyone got any idea how I can fix this
problem????? (Dell wants $100.00) Someone please help me!

Why would you need drivers to use a USB card reader? I just plug in my USB
card reader and there it is! No "drivers" necessary. Are you sure the USB
port is functioning properly? Have you tried anything else in that port to
see if it works?
