Dynamic Web Template

Now that I have taken up 65% of my server limit for my website, with 3
mailboxes sharing the rest, and dealing with an insane amount of buttons
(which is now starting to get messed up),i realized that i cannot go on
without a Dynamic Web Template. I have been reading up on it, and what i get
from it is that: because i have essentially two sets of buttons (one along
the left column and one across the top right of the page), i would need two
dynamic web templates and also that the only type of DWT that would actually
stay throughout the whole website would be a non-editable one. --????
After all the reading i've been doing, i still don't really understand it. I
have looked at some past questions and now i believe i know that i have to
create the DWT on a separate page, and then allpy it to the other pages. My
question is: how do u apply it to them?

No
You just create 1 DWT page w/ your top and left nav and a single editable region (for your page content)
- nothing else, unless you also want it to appear on all pages (like a footer or logo/banner)

Then apply the DWT to all your pages, after removing the top and left nav (and any other "common" content) from all of them

Ok, so i put all my bars with buttons and stuff on a new page, saved t as a
DWT. removed that same space that would occupy another page on my web, and
then proceded to attach the DWT, but i couldn't because it said i had no
editable regions--?????? what do i do now? how do i add those?

Hi
You add editable regions by placing the curser where you want the editable
region then on the main top menu choose format - dynamic web template -
manage editable regions, add a Region name the add button will then light,
click to add the region
