Dynamic unreadable

I just put an 200 GB disk (secondary for storage) into my win 2000, in
computer management i get: Disk 1 Dynamic Unreadable.
The Disk is OK, i pluged it as an USB drive on the same machine, works fine.

Did you set it up as a dynamic disk or is this how it shows it from the
start?
