dynamic disk failure

Let's say that my PC has two 500 GB drives. As a dynamic disk, it would
appear to be 1 drive of 1 TB capacity. What happens if a disk in the dynamic
disk fails? Is there a blue screen? How does one restore Windows after
replacing the failed drive? Thank you.

Ok, you stated that there would not be a blue screen unless the dynamic disk
is a system drive. Let's assume that it is a system drive & it is a spanned
volume. There would be a blue screen. How does one restore Windows after the
failed drive is replaced? Thank you.

You still haven't answered my previous question. How does one restore
Windows after the failed drive is replaced? Thank you.
