dvdrom????

I bought a game, for my dvd rom.. I called an online tech.. but they couldn't help
I installed it.. no problems... It is on my desktop for a shortcut.. when I put my disk in and click on the icon to play.. it comes up and loads.. first lets me pick single player..ect... then loads as it's beginnging to come on the screen goes black and right back to my desktop? the online tech said I had everything I needed. I hope someone can helpl
 
What resolution do you have the game set at

Try changing the resolution of the game, usually located in setting/graphics within the game
