DVD tray keeps opening and closing

Hi

I loaded a registry scanning software program which stuffed my PC. I
did a System Restore however my DVD tray now keeps opening and closing
whenever I open a program. Does anyone know what is causing this and
how I can fix it?

I hope you learned your lesson, never mess with registry.

1.Go to Device Manager > Expand Cd/Dvd rom > Right click your Dvd drive and
choose uninstall > Let it check the hardware at next reboot [Don't check it
now]
2.Go to Start > Run > msconfig > Choose Diagnostic Startup [To be sure that
no background program is the cause]
3.Start your computer in Safe Mode
