DVD -RW Writing Support Under XP

I can write to a DVD -RW disk using Nero, but I don't
seem to be able to write to it directly under Windows XP.
I thought XP supported this type of driver.

It happliy writes to a DVD -R disc

Any ideas?
 
Windows XP doesnt have support for writing DVD's. XP dupports writing CD's,
but not DVD's.
