hi i'm trying to copy a dvd-rw i recorded to a dvd-r, but
i cant seem to get it to work.. it starts, but then
cancels because it cant copy one of the files - reason
given is that the file is corrupt. I'm using a dvd drive
to do the copy, and it isn't corrupt, because i can watch
the movie on my media player.

has anyone managed to do a dvd-rw to dvd-r copy ? how?

please help... thanks

I've never tried it, but I should imagine it is possible. Can you save the
file to the hdd first and then to the -r disc? Was the -rw disc closed when
burnt, as this may have an affect on it?

I have a similar problem. I am running Windows XP Home on my PC. Whenever I
attempt to copy zip files to a CD-R or a CD+R from either a CD-RW, CD+RW or
hard disk, I frequently get a pop-up notice on the Taskbar announcing that
one or more zip files is corrupt. This results in the CD-Rs and CD+Rs being
unusable and, consequently, wasted. However, this problem does not occur when
I copy the same zip files from hard disk to a CD-RW or a CD+RW.

Suggestions please.
