DVD-R/RW problem

Info: xp, 2.8mhz, 512m, 128m graphics, AHEAD NERO
Recently I have installed a "DVD R/RW,LITE ON". It plays
DVD'S but it does not burns them and I get a notice that I
should insert an empty cd. I tried to burn DVD'S both ways
1) by my harg disc and 2) copy directly DVD to DVD-R.
So in general even if I insert an empty DVD-R in the DVD-
ROM, NERO BURN always reports back that I should insert an
empty DVD-R disc.

Nero support is better to contact for problems with Nero.

Is It possible that your burner is made to burn DVD+ only? I had that
problem and It was that I was using the wrong media.
