DVD +-RW +-R not responding

Hello:

As a DVD burner on my computer, I have the Lite-On DVDRW
LDW-811S. I am using Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 6 and
have updated the Driver Engine to 6.2.0.134 but my blank
DVD +RW and DVD +R disks are not being recognized to
enable Drag and Drop or formatting. The Drag to Disc
locks up and does not respond.

I have also tried using CD-RW disks in the drive and it
still is not recognizing the disks.

What am I doing incorrectly? Please Help! Any and all
assistance and suggestions are and will be helpful and
appreciated.

Throw away your Roxio malware.

Go here:

http://www.nero.com/us/index.html

download the 30 day trial and try it AFTER uninstalling
and scraping every little tenacious piece of Roxio from
your computer.

There are specific instructions (at least, there used to be)
on getting it off your box on the Roxio support site.
