I am using a laptop with WinXP Pro. I used a CD-RW with a
USB2.0 external enclosure, and it worked fine. But lately
I bought a DVD+RW, and cannot be correctly recognized with
the same enclosure (XP recognized it as a "hard-disk" in
the "hardware manager", but no drive appeared under "my
computer" and "disk manager"). I updated all drivers,
even bought a new enclosure, the problem still existed.
The manufacture of the enclosure said it might be a flaw
in WinXP's USB mass storage driver. Do anyone have the
same problem as I or have any solution?
