DVD RW drive label won't update

I've recently edited my system registry to disable autorun for security
reasons (i.e. to protect against spyware, viruses, other malicious software,
etc.), but have found a problem that may or may not be related. In Windows
Explorer, when I insert a CD, the label doesn't update. For example, in the
folder tree, I had a CD in there previously that had the label "Bundle" so
the folder tree for my DVD drive shows "Bundle (D:)". But then I took it out
and put my Windows XP disc in, and it still shows "Bundle (D:)" instead of
the label for my Windows XP disc. I notice when I run my AVG anti-virus that
my Shell32.dll has changed, and I understand that it can do that with Windows
Updates, but I can't seem to find what the latest version is. Mine shows
"6.00.2900.2869 (xpsp_sp2_gdr.060316-1512)" modified 3/16/2006 @ 10:03:54 PM.
Is that the right version? I haven't seen anything on the web in my searches
so far that indicates there should be a 3/16/2006 version of shell32.dll. If
my shell32.dll is OK, then what else should I do to fix this updating problem
with my DVD drive?!?! Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

OK, I've done a little more research, found "Microsoft Security Bulletin
MS06-015
Vulnerability in Windows Explorer Could Allow Remote Code Execution
(908531)" (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/Bulletin/MS06-015.mspx)
and under the "Security Update Information->Windows XP (all versions)->File
Information" it indicates:

Filename: Shell32.dll
Version: 6.0.2900.2869
Date: 17-Mar-2006
Time: 04:03
Size: 8,452,096
Folder: SP2GDR

(not sure what "Folder" means, I only see 1 shell32.dll, and no SP2GDR
folder! Also, there are other Shell32.dll's listed in the table, just with
different "Folder" fields. ???)

Which, taking the UTC time conversion from Mountain Daylight Time into
account matches my Shell32.dll information. So I guess that's OK. I guess my
concern stems from the fact that I did find a couple viruses as of late,
which I hopefully have eliminated, but may still need to play damage control
with. At least my anti-virus says it doesn't detect any others at present. I
still have the problem with my DVD drive not updating though. Again, any help
would be great!
