DVD-RW drive disappears from My Computer

When my external Iomega DVD-RW USB drive is assigned the drive letter H it
does not display in My Computer. Any other drive-letter assignment makes it
show up. Can anyone explain this to me and suggest a solution?

Do you have a TweakUI setting to hide that drive letter?

Stop assigning Drive letter H to the effin' drive already, and you will
be able to see it.

Since you hit the nail on the head, here's another problem you may wish to
tackle. After installing Internet Explorer 7.0 Beta 2 Preview (IE7B2P), my
Cookies folder has become hidden. I can only see it in My Computer or in
Windows Explorer by unchecking the square next to the "Hide Protected
Operating System Files (Recommended)" option in the View tab of the Folder
Options window and then clicking Apply and OK. Is there any way to make my
Cookies folder visible again without violating Microsoft's recommendations or
uninstalling IE7B2P? Many thanks.

Since MS made the cookie folder hidden, wouldn't finding a way around it
being hidden be violating Microsoft's recommendations?
