My LG DVD-ROM DRN8080B plays all kinds of movies except
DVD that I recently made myself on DVD burner. It's a
legal copy of a movie (plays just fine on regular DVD
player).
 
Do you have DVD software installed... PowerDVD, WinDVD... whichever came
with the drive? Do the manufacturers of the drive state it is compatible
with DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW or DVD+RW, whichever format you burned the disk
in?
