dvd re-writer

How do i find out if my dvd re-writer is + or - so i can
get the correct discs. I have tried looking in systems
information but i could not see anything.

What make is it? Easiest way is to go to the manufacturer's web site and
read the specs.

Well - the manual. . . But look in Control Panel - System - Hardware -
Device Manager for the drive under DVD/CD-ROM drives and it should say
either DVD-RW or DVD+RW
