DVD+R

I have an OPTORITE DVD Writer , it is supposed to write to + and - Discs , but will only write to -R, even though I am using Ritek which I have been advised to use . It wont write to Mirror DVD-R
 
i have a sony, and it won't write to +DVD either at 1x speed. It will write
to +DVD at higher speed. Check your instructin manual
