DVD-R appears as DVD-ROM in my computer

I have the same problem.
This doesn't matter when you want to burn a cd...
My laptop had the programm "NTI cd & dvd maker" with it and this
worked fine, also the new version of Nero (ahead) 6.**** sees it as a
rewriter.

Nero 5.* didn't saw the rewriter but the new versions do!

THANKS FOR THE INFO, BUT IT IS STILL NOT WORKING. WHEN I LOOK IN MY
COMPUTER I DON'T SEE MY DVD DRIVE THERE ON ONLY ONES ARE THERE IS (C)
