I have had a decent experience with Vista so far. However, I continue to
have a problem with Media Player 11 and commercial DVDs. I keep getting the
message:

Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a problem occurred with
digital copy protection. When I go to Web Help, I get the error message code
C00D1163.

Yet I still can see and hear the DVD even thought that error message pops
up. Although I can't go to Full Screen.

Help!

TIA

I read the blog, but my problem, having the same initial error message,
was simply the lack of a DVD player program. Media player will not play
commercial DVD's as Vista is straight out of the box. I've installed
Nero 6 and can now play DVD's. No codecs were needed.

Hi
I also installed NeroMediaPlayer but it gives me an error aplication:

Faulting application NeroMediaPlayer.exe, version 1.4.0.32, time stamp
0x42666897, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x00000000,
exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00000000, process id 0xc24,
application start time 0x01c69a144a5f1590.

Any help?

TIA
