I bought movie maker, and I can't get it to play on my DVD, also, I send movies to family, and it won't play on their computer, or if it plays, it is distorted, also can I get the movies to play on DVD 's like Photodex does.. Brian

The discs burned by Movie Maker don't play on the DVD players that are
available today... you need to use other software to convert the files and
make the discs.

how do you know if your computer plays dvds

Put a DVD in the drive and see if it starts up.
