DVD Maker: Strange Problem

A

AndyM3

Hello all,

I rewrote this message because MS seems to have deleted it from the
Communities.

Here's the scenario:
I started DVD Maker to create a family DVD. At the Add Files screen, I saw
that the DVD Burner box was empty and there was NOTHING to select from the
dropdown box. Weird, but I decided to continue. I added the files, played
with the menus, chapters, info etc... And when I clicked "Burn DVD",
SURPRIZE, DVD Maker said: "No DVD Burner found. Please select one.". I go
back to Add Files and no DVD Burner there.

I tried everything I could think of, but no result.

Please HELP.

Hi Andy,

System make/model?
DVD burner make/model?

Is this a drive that came with the system or one you added afterwards? Can
it be seen in Windows Explorer? Were you able to burn successfully with it
previously?
