I have the exact same problem as "carelpeer" my windows dvd maker worked fine
until I recently had to reatore my computer back to the original factory
status. since that which was about a week ago my dvd maker doesn't work. I
import my items and click next and dvd maker crashes. problem reports and
solutions told me it was caused by "indeo audio " which is a driver not
installed on my computer. I uninstalled all new programs to see if there was
a compatability issue and there wasn't I checked for new updates and didn't
find any. I was about to restore my computer back to the factory settings
again thinking maybe some piece of it didn't restore properly the last time.
