DVD Looping

Tonight I burned a DVD Which I played on my DVD player, (not the DVD drive,
but the actual player itself.) it played fine but it played again
automatically in the end. Is this normal? I have a small theory as to why
this happened, it may have something to do with the autmatic add chapter
feature, in the software that I am using is this right? I would greatly
appreciate your answers ASAP.

No idea, you haven't said what software you are using
Did it return to the menu adn play again or just play the video again?
If it just played the video again then it will be in the menu you made,
instead of return to menu at the end of the video file it is set to return
to video

As Graham said we would need to know what software you used.
Some authoring programs give you an option as to what to do at the end of a
video.
You can return to the menu, loop through the video again, and even go to
another menu with more advanced programs like DVD Workshop.
