DVD Drive won't open

Someone help me!! I can't get my DVD RW drive to open its door.. The light
won't come on, and it's totally unresponsive. I've done the
troubleshooting, to no avail, and rebooted, etc. Nothing.
I will look forward to any suggestions.

You are going to have to do some computer surgery.
Open the case and see if any wires to the drive are loose.
If not, order a new drive and R&R (remove and replace) the drive.

There should be a small hole on the drive door. take a paper clip and
straighten it out, then poke it into the hole and the tray should open.
