DVD/CD-Rom Drive Not Recognized By Windows XP:

Hello,

My DVD/CD-Rom drive is not being recognized by Windows XP, yet the hard
drive recognizes the drive. In Device Manager, the DVD/CD-Rom Drive reads an
error message saying:

LITE-ON LTR-40125S

I've attempted System Restore, and have also tried downloading a new
DVD/CD-Rom drive on ibm.com using migr-56628 (PZ2Z30US.exe file), but have
been unsuccessful.

Any further ideas?
