DVD Camcorder

Hi everyone. We received a Sony DVD camcorder last month as a gift. It came
with Nero 6 to be installed on the computer. Last week, we bought a new
Compaq/HP computer that has Windows Vista already installed. Here's my
problem. I know Vista won't support Nero 6. However, I can't upgrade to Nero
7 unless Nero 6 is already installed on my computer. How do I make this
work?!??!

Nero 6 will work, except for Nero Express (which is a pretty poor shell for
Nero, anyway).
