DVD burning software recommendation

S

Sue

Ok, I have been using Movie Maker Two for a few weeks.
I've created some pretty nice home videos, too. I've put
one of my movies onto my web page. I've burned others
onto a CD and sent them to my sister (they look pretty
good, too) but now I'm ready to burn my videos onto a
DVD. My husband said he will buy me a DVD burner for our
computer this summer. He's waiting to see what Sony and
Philip are coming out with first. But once I get my DVD
hardware installed, which software is the best one to
use? I see microsoft has a link to Sonic MyDVD 5 from
it's Movie Maker Two page. Who is using it? Is it
good? Do you like it? If you're not using this one,
which one are you using and why?

Thank you,

Sue

Hi there,

I use ArcSoft's ShowBiz v2 and an HP DVD 420i. I got
ArcSoft's "PSL" (1-year Personal Software License) for my
wife who is really into the digital "still" photography --
you get 14 of their products for about $200, including
several video sw products. The HP burner is very capable
and F-A-S-T. A couple of links for you follow -- Good
luck.
