during set up tells me that the ost file is not a offline folder

I just loaded office and tried to set up outlook - one of the first questions
it asked something about offline - now it is stuck - every time I open
outlook it tells me that this ost file is not an offline folder

Try creating a new mail profile in the Mail applet in Control Panel. Pay attention to the questions asked and take notes so you can come back here with details if you encounter further problems.
