During publishing with FP2003 I get a time out

During publishing a large database file (40MB) I get a time out error. If I
use Internet Explorer and FTP it prompts me to turn off Windows Firewall and
it publishes OK. I tried turning off Windows Firewall and McAfee but FP2003
still times out during publish?

iirc, there's a 1mb limit on file sizes that can be published with FP

Just remember to only FTP the file and not any of the special FrontPage
folders, such as _vti or you'll corrupt the server extensions. Also, why
not use a regular FTP program like WS_FTP or CuteFTP? Yes, you can do it in
IE but I've found these faster for uploads and they offer more choices. For
example, if it's a UNIX based server and you have to use CHMOD to change
permissions.
