During a Full Scan I get Errors

G

I have installed defender on two seperate computers and both have ran into
problems.

computer 1 error
Windows Defender encountered an error: 0x80508012. An unexpected problem is
preventing the program from scanning your computer for unwanted software.

computer 2 error
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into
drive\Device\Hardisk\DR1

I'm not sure what these errors mean, but they are messing up the whole scan.
Can anyone help.

What version of Windows on each?

For computer 1, perhaps try scanning in safe mode?

for computer 2, the generic "fix" is to insert a disk into the drive--is
there a removable media drive of some sort on this system?
