duplicating a motion path

Greetings from Downunder
Is there any way of duplicating a motion path WITHOUT duplicating the object
that it is anchored to?
I am using a freeform motion path, and I know I can draw it twice, but I
want it to be an exact copy of the first.
Using XP Pro + SP3 and Office 2003
