duplicate start up entries

how can I get rid of duplicate start up entries in "msconfig"startup?

edit yr registry at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ru
and possibl
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Just uncheck them. If you don't want to see them there at
all, you will have to edit the Registry, but that's a good
way to get yourself into real trouble.

Go to Start/Run and type in: msconfig. Go to the Startup Tab and uncheck
accordingly. Then run this script to remove the disabled items from the
registry.
