duplicate send menu option & doesn't work

Outlook 2003 on XP. After syncing with his Motorola Q, one user's
Outlook now has two "Send" options in the Send/Receive drop-down
menu. Neither of them works. (They're not greyed out. Click on either
one and nothing happens.) The only way to send mail is by using "Send
All." He has been using Outlook with his smartphone for many months
now and nothing like this has happened before.
Any ideas?

Use the Mail applet in Control Panel to repair the mail profile or create a
new one.
