I have a SATA drive that does NOT contain my Boot drive. I am using
Windows XP. The drive has been mapped as "E:" Suddenly, I noticed that
it it ALSO mapped as drive "J:" Additionally, if I try to move a file
from this drive--it appears to be still there (and I presume that it is)
but I cannot access the file. I also get an error message that tells me
that the recycle bin for drive J is corrupted, and asks if I want to
empty this bin. I have a lot of data on this drive, and it seems to work
fine, accept for moving files. Please advise as to how I can fix this
problem.

By mapped do you mean you actually mapped the drive, or do you mean winxp
simply identifies it as E in disk management?
