duplicate records

I have a very simple querie which is giving me trouble.

I have 2 fields - ID, emailaddress

when i run the duplicate wizard it illiminates more than just dups.

all i want to do is remove duplicate email address of 30,000 entries.
 
Hi,


SELECT id, emailAddress
FROM mytable
GROUP BY id, emailAddress




or, in this case, simply


SELECT DISTINCT id, emailAddress
FROM myTable
