Duplicate Print Jobs

We have a networked Canon iR2010 set up as a network printer. Whenever
anyone tries to print to it, anywhere from 2 - 5 print jobs are created. (I
Paused the printer and sent a document. Usually it generates 2 print jobs,
but can also create 3, 5, or 5 jobs). Some of the users also have printers
attached directly to their PC by USB or Parallel port. The same print jobs
only print once on those printers.

We do have the latest print drivers installed. We have hot and cold booted
the printer. We have logged everyone off and had only one user logged on.
We assigned the printer to another IP address. Nothing has worked. The
exceptional Canon support staff hasn't even acknowledged any requests for
help. : p

Does anyone have any ideas what else we may try?

Isn't it obvious that the Canon printer is not networked properly. Uninstall
it
and delete all references to it. Reboot and reinstall it with the proper
configuration.
