Duplicate IP in DNS

Hi all !
I just found a problem in my DNS. There is some adresses assigned to
multiple hosts.
My pc's are W2k/XP. All my pc's are DHCP clients.
My DHCP server is under W2k and is configured to dinamically update A and
PTR records and
to Discard A and PTR records when lease is deleted. My lease is 8h.
If I take a look in its db, I actually find only 1 adress/host.

Actually I don't have multiple pc's whith the same IP address on my network,
I always have only one pc which is up.
The other ones with the same ip address are down.

What I suspect is that my DHCP server never clean my DNS db, maybe because
it considers the lease
always active ?
If anyone has some idea....
