duplicate files on disk

Phil Sirlin

In an attempt to recover disk space, I have discovered
several sets of large identical files in the
C:\WINDOWS\Installer directory with similar names such as
373c65.msp, b3bbd.msp, and b3bd0.msp, which are identical
and using 17,280,000 bytes each. Is it possible to
delete the extra copies, and how do I determine which one
to keep? Thank you for any insights on this issue.

Try NoClone, it finds and removes duplicate files. With the smart
marker, you can mark files by date, file name, folder, size and
version for file removal. However, it is reminded that you should make
sure you know what they are before deleting them.
