duplicate file finder

Somewhere in the recesses of my memory I remember a duplicate file finder
which was very powerful (and potentially lethal). It worked in a peculiar
way. After opening the program the user opened windows explorer in order to
select the drive or folder where one wanted to find duplicates. Then the
user dragged the folder onto the interface of the utility and then selected
the find process. One had the option of automatic deletion of a massive
amount of files.

All of this is to ask:

(1) does anyone know where I can download a file anywhere near what I have
attempted to describe; and if not

(2) any suggestions?
