Duplicate Emails Being Sent

Just got a new 'puter up and running. Now all my emails are being sent in
duplicate (2 copies of the same email). Can't find anything obvious.
Ideas? Thanks in advance.

1. Tools | Accounts | Mail | [account] | Properties | Advanced | Break apart
messages... (uncheck)

2. Disable email scanning by your anti-virus application. It provides no
additional protection, it could be playing a role in your problem, and even
Symantec says it's not necessary:

incoming files as they are saved to your hard drive, including email and
email attachments. Email Scanning is just another layer on top of this. To

Auto-Protect enabled and run LiveUpdate regularly to ensure that you have
the most recent virus definitions.

Go to Tools, Accounts, make sure you don't have a duplicate account.
