I have a few regular (weekly) emails from services that I am subscribed
to. The problem only happens with for 3-4 of the providers. I am using
1&1 and MS Outlook.
When one of the providers sends me an email I get between 2 and five
copies of the same email depending on who sent it. The duplicated
amount of email is identical each time the mail is sent e.g. Provider
'A' sends me a weekly update and I get five identical copies each and
every time 1 message is sent. Provider 'B' sends me a bi-weekly update
and I get three identical copies each and every time 1 message is sent,
and so on. As I said it only happens with 3-4 providers and the
remainder of my mail arrives as one copy.
I have spoken to each of the providers and they can find no explanation
as to why this is happening. They are sending me one email to one
address. I do not have any duplicate accounts. All of the mail that
arrives has been checked fro date, time, deliver to and deliver from. I
trust these 4 providers and know that one of them went to great lengths
to try and resolve this.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
